[WIP] No name yet
Hello,
I proudly announce my new map, it is a scripted map.
Q: What is this map about?
A: This map is all about map control, there are 8 outposts on this map, and a timer. You start without mcv, just with 1 outpost.
When the timer reaches zero, you get reinforcement from all outposts you have, than the timer gets reset. You can capture more outposts by getting close to the outpost, without an enemy inside the area where the outpost is in. ( So no engineers involved)
Q: How do you win/lose.
A: You lose when you have no outposts and units, you survive if you have no outposts but just units.
You win by having all 8 outposts
Q: Anything more special in this map?
A: This map has a unique shop system, you get points by holding outposts. With these points, you can buy Support Powers. This all is not unique, but now it comes..... The shop is not a shop by moving an engineer in the right square, but you must select the object en manually buy it!
Q: Do you already started working on this?
A: Yes I did, here are some screenshots(note that the screenshots are a bit f*cked up):

hmm sounds cool but wouldnt it be hard to get ALL outpost's?

As long as the starting units are varried, it should be fine.
You can send a sickle againest a mirage tank, but the mirage tank only captures one spot, everyone should start with the same units for balance reasons but it should work well if its made right.
Its a map based on early balancing, it tends to tip the balance based on your actions on the start too harshly, if you want to have an intresting match i'd recommend another idea, on-top of the current one to help player who are losing, but not so helpfull that the player can over-run other players.

yeah.. I think so... btw... is there a way to make a certain unit, unselactable for certain players?
Edit: would this design would do? (its only 1/4)

AAARGH! I hate worldbuilder, why cant scripts just never work like I want them to work?

Umm... here's a solution:
Tell people to go team 1, 2, 3, ffa, etc. Solution solved.

xD its not that simple, it is not player1, player2, player3, etc. buts its a player that does not show up in lobby...

Well.... I completed it as in beta. But I found out my design sucked, becus you would get huge army's but the passages would be to narrow, so it was all a specialpower fight, when you attack, the enemy cast support in the passage and you do not have time to get away, then it happens vica verca
